Christmas is such a special time of the year. Roast turkey, sparkling cocktails, mulled wine & mince pies. Our 2025 festive set menu is available through December from Monday 24th November to Tuesday 23rd of December for pre-booked parties all day Monday to Saturday and on Sunday evenings from 5pm. Our normal menus, drinks party menus & seasonal specials are also available throughout the pub during December.
Whether you are looking for that perfect place for an office lunch, some festive food to enjoy with family or a good excuse to have a jolly dinner with a few friends. Whatever the reason, come & have fun in our lovely warm & cosy pub or pop on your Christmas jumper and enjoy our enclosed & heated barn & outdoor terrace areas.

Christmas Eve – ‘Twas the night before Christmas’. Santa’s Elves will be visiting around 5pm for our younger customers with a sack full of goodies. We will be running our a-la-carte menu all day.
Christmas Day – The perfect opportunity to wear your Christmas jumper! The restaurant is now fully booked but our bar will be open 12-3pm for drinks. We are closed in the evening.
Boxing Day – We will be closed & giving our hardworking team a well earned day off!
Saturday 27th December – Back open from 11am & raring to go!
Twixmas – It’s that time between Christmas and New Year when nobody knows what day it is! The perfect time to escape the house (and the turkey sandwiches). Why not book a table to catch up with friends, warm up after a walk by the river or for a cosy dinner.
New Year’s Eve Hawaiian Party – Now this is a night we are very excited about! Normal service during the day and a family sitting early evening. Then from 8pm its a tropical party night at the Three Horseshoes and we can’t wait to see in 2026 with you all. There will be a DJ, dancing & lashings of rum punch. Special prizes for the best Hawaiian shirt and best new years dancing! A four-course set menu will be served in the restaurant at £69.50 per head. The bar is tickets only from 8pm, £15 per person including delicious nibbles. Last bar admission 9.30pm.
New Year’s Day 2026 – Kick start the new year with freshly ground coffee, a reviving Bloody Mary and a decent lunch! We are open from 12 noon for you to continue the celebrations!
